The manufacturer does not provide too many technical details, so I don’t know if the tonearm was taken from another manufacturer from the world of turntables or if it is his creation. The tonearm is flat, made of aluminum, and equipped with a removable headshell support, which makes it easy to replace or install a better-quality headshell. The tonearm comes with a premounted and precisely tuned Audio-Technica AT3600L MM cartridge.
On the tonearm, it is possible to adjust the VTF using a counterweight, while on the base there is a wheel for anti-skating adjustment. The motor is fixed inside the base and equipped with an optical sensor for speed control, and the platter is driven by a belt.

The simple settings are clearly described, although not explained in more detail in the accompanying instructions, and consist of two steps. Following the instructions, it is first necessary to adjust the tread force using the counterweight, followed by the anti-skating adjustment via the wheel, while the VTA adjustment is missing. In terms of sound, you shouldn’t expect an unforgettable listening experience and pure hi-fi realism from an entry-level turntable – the Spinner BT was created to give a good insight into the virtues of turntables, and at one point to convince you to take the next step and switch to an even better model. The sound is well-shaped and very drinkable for long periods, and the key to pleasant reproduction lies in a slightly more pronounced, although not too prominent, bass.
After listening through the built-in preamplifier, I switched to the Bluetooth connection, which offers solid playback quality via the aptX HD codec. Weaknesses compared to the cable connection can be noticed only in traces, such as slightly reduced definition in the entire spectrum and, consequently, less separation of individual instruments. On the other hand, the overall tonal balance remains unchanged, so the Spinner BT continues to create the recognizable atmosphere of a vinyl sound source even via Bluetooth. In terms of use, this record player is no more complicated than your mobile phone – just press the blue button on the back and Bluetooth is activated. For Bluetooth listening, I used active wireless speakers Sonus Faber Duetto and Bluetooth headphones Philips Fidelio L4, and in both cases, the connection was fast and smooth.
